Our fine pulp has a bright red colour with an intense flavour, it is made from sun-ripened tomatoes and only made during the summer when the harvesting and processing are done on the same day to conserve the tomatoes’ freshness, colour and aroma.
Being a unique product because it pairs diced tomato pulp with tomato juice, our fine diced tomato pulp has more water than the ‘passata’ which is why it is perfect for egg-based pasta since egg-based pasta is not as smooth as semolinabased pasta and absorbs more sauce.
This pulp is also perfect for baking and long-cooking times but it can be also tried with bruschetta or pizza when the fresh tomato flavor needs to be maintained.
